Who am I: Guy Alexander Mason - Page (GAMP)

An example of early photography of me

I guess I should start out with where I am now, which is Denver. Not sure why I'm here.
Below is where I've been.

Bio:
Ok, here, quick bio: I was born in Decateur, Alabama on August 21,
1976. I lived there for a month or so, then went to Illinois. My
dad is a civil engineer, at the time working for Amaco. He had to
move around to do whatever it was he did, I think building huge
plants to spew waste from petroleum refinement into the ecosystem.
Then we moved to Houston, Texas. Some point around this time my dad
thought his secretary looked good, so my mom took me back to her
hometown of Rye, New York and they were divorced. I was around one
or two years old at the time. We lived there for a while, then when
I was about four or five we moved to Bronxville, NY, then my mom met
Joe Page at her theatre group. At this point they got married and we
moved to Port Chester, NY. Now I'm five, and we move to a little
house in Vista, NY, otherwise known as the town of Lewisboro, which
includes the more famous hamlet of Katonah. This place is in
Westchester County, same as all the other NY towns. I live there, go
to Meadow Pond Elementary School where I am super smart and
intelligent as well as an extremely tiny child. Maybe I should find
a picture of my scrawny boned self and scan it before they all rot
into oblivion. Anyway, I stay there, get up till 10th grade at John
Jay Senior High School, then my mom leaves Joe and me move to Carmel,
NY, up in Putnam County. This place is right above Westchester, I
haven't moved far in these years. It is known for Cold Spring, NY
which is on the Hudson and is a nice place to go. It is also closer
to Danbury, Connecticut than it is close to any other recognizable
city. There I meet many of my present group of friends, discover new
things, work at the Putnam County Day Camp, then next year at the
Putnam County Real Property and Tax Services Department as a
draftsman for a number of years and also at some point graduate from
Carmel High School, I think at 32nd in my class out of 200 and some
odd individuals (phew, longs sentence.) Then I go to Buffalo
(University at Buffalo), where I engage in all sorts of ritual
activities including; civil engineering, management information
systems, and economics. I pay more attention to clubs (I have this
knack for taking over most clubs that I join (see current movie
"Rushmore") than school and end up taking a 'ahem' leave of absence
from my studies to work for a while, and live at home again after so
many beautiful years of independence. Hey, rent is expensive down
here :(
At home I start working with my dad at Limat Graphics in Danbury,
CT. There I design curcuit boards for nice safe things like weapons
systems of helicopters or something. I'm not sure why I was allowed
to do that. I soon started taking classes at Western Connecticut
State University, and am currently a media / theatre student. I also
referee paintball at Liberty Paintball and
work as a head projectionist, first at United Artists at Jefferson
Valley, and now at the Carmel Multiplex, which is run by Cinema North.
My experience involves working on movie sets as an extra or
production assistant or whatever else they will let me do. I enjoy
working with the gaffer and setting up lights and flags and whatnot,
but of course it is great to get in front of the camera and make
silly faces. So far I have worked on "Final" directed by Campbell
Scott and starring Hope Davis and Denis Leary. I also have been an
extra on "Series 7" directed by Dan Minahan (look for me next to the
girl that looks like Denise Richards in the movie theatre scene, I'm
making faces). See pictures from movie
sets for more details.
I last live in Kent, NY, a suburb
of NYC. I live on this nice big piece of land with a nice old house
and all these old barns and stuff. See pictures here. I spend most of my time in Danbury, CT,
at school or doing random things. I graduate from Western Connecticut State University
with a Bachelors in Communication and Theatre Arts. I also have my
own TV show on campus. I act, cause
trouble, and generally attempt to be funny.
Then I get in my car and drive to Seattle. There I work as a
security guard at various federal facilities (I'm no loser) and start
working my dream in digital video production. I live in this cool apartment that has the "frasier" view. I
live with some neat guys that make movies with me. I'm living a good
life, having a great time. I then move to a big house with 3 other movie type guys, well one makes longboards.
After that I work game testing in Redmond for whoever that might be, then get laid off. I freelance for a website that
is supposed to help in the movie casting business but it doesn't go anywwhere. I move to Denver to save money and live with my family, get a move job (sort of), get my own apartment and get laid off.
